Ginger Costa-Jackson
Ginger Costa-Jackson was born in Palermo, Sicily to Italian mother Emilia Costa and American father Walt Jackson. While not professional musicians both mother and father have a great love of music and the Italian culture. Italian was the first language spoken by Ginger and her two sisters. Her father’s early career in the U.S. Air Force allowed the family opportunities to travel and live in various places prior to making their home in Utah where her father took a job as an educator.
Marina Costa-Jackson
Marina is a resident artist at the Academy of Vocal Arts (AVA) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her upcoming roles with AVA include Mimì in Puccini's La Bohème, and Marguerite in Gounod's Faust. Previously, she was Liza in Tchaikovsky’s Pique Dame, and Amelia in Verdi’s Un ballo in maschera.
Born in Las Vegas, Nevada, Marina is Italian-American. She was raised in Sandy, Utah and Palermo, Italy. She currently resides in Philadelphia, PA with her Sicilian husband, Davide Biondo, and their Pomeranian, Sisi.
